We're Back from Camp

Sorry for the delay on the final camp update. The internet connection was bad at camp and I couldn't get anything to load. We are now back safely in the great state of Ohio.

This camp trip was great for many reasons. I got to meet our leaders and see them in action for the first time. I'm excited to get to share life with them. They were great and I'm looking forward to when Tiffany and I can be with them to really get to know who they are.

Our kids that went on the camp trip were great. It amazes me every time I get back from camp that the Lord chooses to use us to share himself with high schoolers. Of the 38 kids who went on the trip to Timberwolf 12 of them gave their lives to Jesus. How amazing is that? We actually got to witness and take part in Jesus making dead things come alive. God is good and I can't wait to see what He will do in South Toledo in the months and years to come.

Here are a few pictures of South Toledo Young Life and our new friends:

Day 3 at Timberwolf Lake

South Toldeo Young Life had another great day at camp. The weather was beautiful and the day was filled with a ton of fun. Kids also got to hear about Sin. It was a tough night for some kids. Please continue to pray for us as we process what this means for them on a personal level.

South Toledo Prayer Requests:
Justin- That he finds his true identity in Christ.
Katie- Health Problems and rough family life
That the girls would open up and get real.
2 Girls going through a rough family break up.
JoJo- He's so close to giving his life to the Lord.
Our New Leaders- That they would continue to go strong after kids.

From Timberwolf Lake,
Dan

South Toledo at YoungLife Camp!

Hello from Timberwolf Lake.

Friday morning South Toledo Young Life took 45 high school folks and leaders from Anthony Wayne and Bowsher High Schools to Timberwolf Lake in Lake City, Michigan. As soon as we arrived kids were off and running; enjoying everything camp had to offer. Right now, we are in the middle of Day 2 at camp. Kids at club tonight will be hearing about their need for Jesus in their lives. We are excited for what God is doing and that we get to partner with Him to tell the greatest love story ever written.

South Toledo Prayer Requests:
Sarah with a rough past and view on life. Specifically that see will see truth this week.
For our leaders to stay healthy and focused on Jesus so they can pour into their high school friends.
Ultimately that Jesus Christ will be lifted up and kids will want that in their lives.

Thanks for praying,

Dan
